As an experienced event photographer and videographer, I was delighted to be hired to document an exclusive Champagne wine tour in the iconic Champagne region of France. This three-day event masterfully blended insightful conferences with world-class Champagne tastings, bringing together discerning guests from the USA, Canada, and the UK.

I joined the group on day two for an unforgettable journey. We boarded a private bus and headed to charming Épernay, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the highly regarded La Grillade Gourmande — a perfect spot known for its seasonal, fire-grilled specialties.

The afternoon featured visits to two outstanding Champagne houses: Pertois-Moriset and Valentin Leflaive. We descended into their impressive cellars for exclusive guided tours, gaining fascinating insights into the meticulous Champagne production process — from grape to bubble. Each visit concluded with guided Champagne tastings, allowing everyone to savor the elegant, terroir-driven cuvées.

The evening brought us back to Reims for a sophisticated dinner at Brasserie Le Jardin, a stylish venue offering refined French cuisine in a beautiful garden setting.

On the final day, the morning began with an engaging lecture at the luxurious La Caserne Chanzy Hotel & Spa, ideally located steps from the breathtaking Reims Cathedral. Lunch followed at the acclaimed Le Crypto, known for its classic yet inventive French dishes.

In the afternoon, we explored two legendary Champagne houses in Reims: Taittinger and Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin. These historic estates boast vast, tunnel-like underground cellars — a true marvel of engineering and tradition. We enjoyed in-depth tours and, of course, more exceptional Champagne tastings.

The event wrapped up with a memorable farewell dinner at La Grande Georgette, where I captured authentic video testimonials from participants sharing their highlights of the trip.

Throughout the experience, my role was to discreetly document every moment — from candid group interactions and scenic landscapes to the artistry of Champagne production and the joy of discovery. The final deliverables included a full gallery of high-resolution photos and a polished highlight video that recaptured the elegance, flavor, and camaraderie of the tour.
