Event photography at an international conference in Madrid
I had the privilege of photographing a vibrant two-day Siemens conference at the prestigious Hotel Riu Plaza España in Madrid. With its prime location on the iconic Gran Vía and breathtaking views, the hotel’s elegant setting provided a stunning backdrop for the event. The conference brought together around 150 participants, including 130 customers from 47 utilities across 25 countries. My role as the event photographer was to capture the energy and engagement of attendees throughout the presentations, breakout sessions, and discussions. Siemens showcased their latest innovations in transmission and distribution grid management, along with updates on their product evolution. The main conference room hosted key presentations, while the afternoons featured smaller breakout sessions in more intimate spaces. I also documented the dynamic panel discussions and roundtable conversations, ensuring that every key moment of interaction and collaboration was vividly preserved through my photography.
